Redwing Community Interest Company's mission is to support artists who are marginalised by the mainstream art world. 
We provide exhibition opportunities in our galleries, affordable art studios, open access arts facilities, classes and workshops, affordable meeting and event space, and a 100% vegan cafe in Penzance, Cornwall.


REDWING 's current opening hours are

Monday, Thursday and Friday  

  10:30 am - 4:00 pm  for takeaway and collection and Penzance Community Larder.

REDWING HOUSING CO-OPERATIVE LTD


The new Redwing Housing Co-operative will address the  housing needs of creative people in Cornwall. 


We propose shared facilities alongside affordable, long-term rented live-work studio accommodation for artists, writers and musicians as well as land set aside for nature.

We are currently issuing loanstock to raise finance for our first property.

John Gordon
21st November 1941 - 21st November 2020.

Redwing's friend, the poet and lecturer John Gordon will be much missed here in the town of Penzance. John's poetry anthologies "Violets Unfold in My Throat" and "Tiger, Tiger" were published by The Hypatia Press.
